Meinhardt, Clarence (ExPOW – 24 October 1981)
Clarence Meinhardt, Greenwood, was reelected commander of the American
Ex-Prisoners of War, Inc., for Wisconsin at that group’s annual convention on
October 24, in Port Washington.
Serving with Meinhardt Cloren Meade, Beloit, senior vice commander; Raymond
Lauters, Port Washington; junior vice commander; and Bernice Potocnik, Owen,
adjutant-treasurer.
Present for the convention were congressman Les Aspin, the keynote speaker; five
national Ex-POW officers; and the state commander of the Disabled American
Veterans. Other events included seminars on med-search and legislation and a
memorial service. About 150 attended the confab.
