Roehl, Lowell and Velora (Dairyman Award - 1981)
Lowell and Velora Roehl, Rt. 2 Loyal, recently received the Northern States
Power Company Premier Dairyman Award for Clark County. Robert Cattanach,
representing NSP, gave the trophy at an annual banquet held October 22 at Loyal.
The selection of the Roehl couple was based on official Dairy Her Improvement
Association (DHIA) records for the last three years.
Arv Dopp, county ag agent, announced that Roehl’s record showed an annual
production of 19, 301 pounds of milk and 730 pounds of butterfat. It was the
highest achieved in the county DHIA program for the period.
NSP, in cooperation with DHAI, presents the award in each of 15 counties served
by the power company.
