Commencement exercises were held at the Abbotsford High School gymnasium
Wednesday, May 22, 1974 at 8 p.m. Fifty-three seniors received their diplomas.
The invocation and benediction were given by Father Emil Hodnik.
Victor Borgemoen, senior class president, gave the welcome.
The class history was read by Thomas Polnaszek.
Ron Schiferl gave the class farewell address.
Diplomas were handed out by Marvin Busse, president of the Board of Education,
and Harold Mills, District Administrator.
The 1974 graduating class of Abbotsford High School chose a blue tinted rose for
the class flower, blue and white for the class colors, and the motto was “We are
tomorrow.”
The Abbotsford High School band and chorus presented several selections during
the ceremony.
