Fred Strathman became the second Abbotsford boy to attain the rank of Eagle
Scout at Abbotsford Troop 621’s Eagle banquet held Saturday, May 18, 1974 at the
First Presbyterian Church, Abbotsford. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene
Strathman.
Herman Schultz, Scout leader, trainer, Nyole “Bunk” Creed, Ojibwa District
Council member, Robert Clausen, publicity, and Robert Morrow, president of the
Abbotsford Lions Club, who sponsor scouting in Abbotsford, were present for the
occasion, along with Boy Scouts, families and friends of scouting.
Strathman is a graduate of Abbotsford High School and is presently a student at
the University of Wisconsin, Superior.
