Four area students graduated at the 23rd annual commencement exercise held May 22, 1974 at North Central Technical Institute, Wausau. They were David Baumgartner, Duwayne Olson, Randy Eiden and David Strathmann.

David Baumgartner graduated with highest honors in his class and received a certificate for Outstanding Graduate 1973-74 in machine and tool operation. A member of Sigma Alpha Lambda Honor Society, , he was treasurer of the machine and tool society.

He has accepted employment at Remmele Engineering, Inc., at St. Paul, Minnesota, starting June 24, 1974.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Baumgartner, Colby.

David Strathmann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Strathmann, Colby, received an Associate degree in Business Administration, with an accounting major.

Duwayne Olson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Olson, Abbotsford, received a degree in Merchandising.

Randy Eiden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Eiden, Abbotsford, received his degree in Residential Design, his major, and has accepted employment in his field at La Crosse.
