Holum, Constance H. (7 May 1910 – 22 November 1981)
A memorial service was held on Saturday afternoon, November 28, at Calvary
Lutheran Church in Neillsville for Constance H., Holum, who passed away in her
East Fifth St., Neillsville home, on Sunday, November 22. The Rev. Paul Forde
officiated. Her body was to be cremated.
The deceased was born on May 7, 1910, in Glenwood, Mn. She received her
education in Mn. On February 12, 1932, she married P.T. Holum in Minneapolis
ceremonies and the couple moved to Racine. In 1952, the Holums came to
Neillsville. She was employed by Neillsville Memorial Hospital for 20 years and
also worked at various hospitals in central and western Wisconsin as a medical
records coordinator. Her husband was a grocer in Neillsville.
She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. For the past several years, Mrs.
Holum made her home in Florida and came to Neillsville in the summer.
Surviving is one son, Bruce, Wichita, Ks; a sister, Ariel Shannon, Springfield,
Mo.; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, three
sisters and a brother.
