Installation service for Pastor Robin O. Fink, new pastor of the Zion Lutheran
Church in Colby, will be held Sunday, June 30, 1974 at 8:15 p.m. at the church.
Rev. Kenneth Loehrke of Abbotsford and Rev. Roland Golz of Dorchester will
conduct the service, with Rev. Joseph Schultz of Antigo conducting the rite of
installation. A reception for Pastor Fink and his family will be held following
the service.
Pastor Fink was born and raised in Mosinee. He has served in the U.S. Marines in
California and Japan. Following his military service, he entered Concordia
Seminary in Springfield, Illinois, and was graduated in 1961. From 1961-64 he
served the Penn-Grace parish at Lakota, North Dakota. In 1964 he accepted a call
at Grace Lutheran Church in Moab, Utah. From 1966-69 he was pastor at Concordia
Lutheran Church in Barstow, California. Since 1969 he has served at St. John
Lutheran Church in Arlington, Minnesota.
During his duties as pastor, he has served as counselor for the youth, LWML, and
th Board of Education in circuit and district levels.
Pastor Fink ad his wife, Wilma, will reside at the parsonage on Second Street in
Colby, with two of their children, Judy, 17, and Daniel, 13. They also have two
married sons living in Burnsville, Minnesota.
