Zrutskie, Dawn Rae (3 Aug 1974)
The Zion Lutheran Church in Colby was the scene of the marriage of Miss Dawn Rae
Zrutskie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Zrutskie, Colby, to Terry Kevin
Littleton, son of Allen Littleton, Monico, and Jean Littleton, Rhinelander.
Pastor Robert Fink officiated at the 7:30 p.m. ceremony on August 3, 1974.
Wedding music was provided by Mrs. William Frome at the organ, accompanying
soloist Mat Del Fatti.
For her wedding the bride selected a gown of sheer organza with high necking,
trimmed with Venice lace. The bishop sleeves were fashioned with rows of Venice
lace and ruffled cuffs. Venetian lace also edged the hemline of the full skirt
and the mantilla, which was held by a lace Camelot headpiece.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was Mrs. Duane Sheets, Colby. The
bridesmaids were Mrs. Dusty Zrutskie, Colby and Miss Brenda Bauer, Unity. They
wore yellow floral flocked nylon gowns of the Edwardian period, and each carried
a long stemmed yellow rose.
Dale Stamper, Crandon, served as best man, and groomsmen were Dusty Zrutskie,
Colby and Jerry Mullins, Crandon. Terry Zrutskie, Wausau and Dennis Bruesewitz,
Unity, ushered the guests to their seats.
Following the wedding a reception and dance were held at Abbotsford City Hall.
A 1970 graduate of Colby High School, the bride was formerly employed at ILC in
Spencer. Her husband, a 1969 graduate of Crandon High School, has served two
years in the U.S. Marine Corps, and is presently employed by Ralph Ort Forest
Products at Monico.
Following a wedding trip to Canada, the couple will be residing at R. 1,
Crandon.
