Linda Krause (UW-Medford), Curtiss, along with 77 other students, will be
spending a semester abroad this fall as part of the International Studies
Program at the UW-Stevens Point. She will be headquartered in Britain.
After a month-long study tour of the European continent, 40 of these
upperclassmen will be headquartered in London, while the other students will
take up residence in Munich, Germany. Both groups will leave Wisconsin on August
18, 1974 and return in early December
Led by UW-SP faculty members Dennis Tierney and Dr. Robert Artigiani, the
“semester in Britain” contingent will visit Luxembourg, Germany, France, Italy,
Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, and Holland before settling down in an
international friendship house in suburban London. There the students will be
studying with Artigiani and Tierney, as well as two British professors from a
local college. Play, concerts, museum visits and weekend trips to nearby places
of interest selected by the students, are also prst of the schedule.
