Amanda Kay “Mandy” Hauser passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.

She was born on January 4, 1975, to Thomas Lewandowski and Jill (Bogumill) Rogalski, in Stanley. Amanda was united in marriage to Chad Hauser on October 5, 1996. They lived in Thorp where they raised their two children.

Mandy loved spending time with her family, soaking up the sun, playing card games, gardening, going on walks, watching sporting events, collecting junk, doing puzzles, and creating crafts. Mandy did everything for everyone, and had the strongest faith. She touched many lives over the years as the 4k Teacher at Thorp Elementary School, and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband: Chad, and their children: Gracie and Charlie Hauser, all of Thorp, parents, Thomas Lewandowski of Cadott, and Jill (Ron) Rogalski of Thorp, her siblings: Craig (Lacy) Lewandowski of Fall Creek, Kevin (Annie) Rogalski of Stanley, Eric (Tina) Rogalski of Austin, TX; her mother-in-law: Sheri Hauser of Gilman, and sister-in-law: Ashlee (Bill) Potaczek of Gilman. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Amanda is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Myrth and Clayborne Bogumill; her paternal grandparents: John and Evelyn Lewandowski; her father-in-law: Larry Hauser; her aunt and uncle: Dennis and Barb Bogumill; and her aunt: Jan Ketterhagen.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 8th at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church, in Thorp, with Mike Houle officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday, August 7th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and again on Monday, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given in Mandy’s name to Thorp Fire & Ambulance, 101 S. Wilson Street, Thorp, WI 54771.
