Kramer’s IGA Foodliner, Inc. of Abbotsford has announced the expansion of the
store to include a new department store featuring general merchandise to be
known at Kramer’s Family Center.
Construction on the new 10,000 foot addition to the store will begin immediately
after Labor Day, and is expected to be in operation on December 1, 1974.
The new center, featuring department store type merchandise, will be constructed
immediately behind Kramer’s IGA Foodliner. Both stores will have separate
entrances, but will be connected by an enclose walkway to protect customers from
the weather.
With the opening of the family center, Kramer’s will feature complete one-stop
shopping for all of you family’s shopping needs.
Kramer’s IGA Foodliner also announced new store hours effective immediately. The
supermarket will now be open every day from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., including all
Sundays and holidays. The new store hours are part of Kramer’s program to
provide customer on-stop shopping service for area shoppers.
A large addition to the food market was just completed about 18 months ago.
