Telford, Mitchell W.(4 March 1990 – 12 August 2022)
Mitchell W. Telford, age 32, of Colby, passed away surrounded by family and
friends on Friday, August 12, 2022, at his home under the tender care of St.
Croix Hospice.
Mitchell was born on March 4, 1990, the son of Arlyn and Kathy (Schultz) Telford
in Marshfield. He graduated from Colby High School in 2008. Mitchell worked as a
metal fabricator.
Mitchell loved racing, wildlife, his family and friends. He loved being around
kids, especially his nieces and nephews; his “kiddos”. Mitchell had a big heart,
and this was evident to everyone he met.
Mitchell is survived by his parents, Arlyn and Kathy Telford; his sister, Jamie
(Tim) Meyer and his brother, Kent (Holly) Telford; nieces and nephews: Tucker,
Madison and Tate Meyer; Myla and Noah Telford; Aunts and Uncles: his favorite
Uncle, Steve Schultz, Randy (Linda) Schultz, Sally (Jerry) Heindl, Amy (Mark)
Underwood, Sandra Beisner, Sharon (Tom) Jochimsen and Alan Telford; many cousins
and friends.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Jerome and Elaine Schultz
and paternal grandparents: Alfred and Jeanette Telford.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at the
Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Pastor Teri Hanson will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 until time of service at the funeral home. The
honor of pallbearers will belong to: Tucker, Tate and Madison Meyer, Myla and
Noah Telford and Eric LaSalle.
