Local Farmers Chosen-Co-op Positions (1982)
A rural Chili man, Ray Miller, was elected a district advisory board member for
the American Feeder Pig Co-op during that group’s district meeting on January 6
in Osseo.
Two Clark County men were also selected to serve as district representatives to
the co-op’s annual meeting in Stevens Point on March 13. They are Phillip
Vollrath and Bernard Artac, both of Rt. 2 Greenwood.
Management reported that the co-op handled 798,160 feeder pigs during its fiscal
year with dollar sales of $26.8 million, with a net margin of $94,000.
