Frome, Wallis A. (12 May 1899 – 2 Sep 1974)
Wallis A. Frome passed away on Monday, September 2, 1974 from an apparent heart
attack at the Colby Hotel, where he had been making his home.
Services were held for Mr. Frome on Friday, September 6 at Zion Lutheran Church,
Colby, beginning at 2 p.m., with Rev. Robin Fink officiating. He was buried at
the Colby Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Frome was born in the Township of Colby on May 12, 1899 and lived in the ara
all his life. He was educated in Colby schools and was a farmer.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a World War II veteran.
He is survived by three brothers and one sister, Edward From, Colby, Ted From,
Colby, Henry Frome, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Meta Dreger, Los Angeles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Frome, and one
brother.
