Trinity Lutheran Church at Unity was the setting August 20, 1974 for the
marriage of Lois Carlson, Unity, and James Schindler, Loyal. The Rev. James
Primley officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony. Music was provided by Miss Susan
Franke, Marshfield.
For the wedding the bride chose a blue floor length gown and wore a corsage of
yellow carnations and red roses. Mrs. Mavis Raatz, Unity, and Marvin Augustine,
Colby, were the sole attendants. Mrs. Raatz wore a yellow floor length gown and
a corsage of daisies.
A reception and dance were held that evening at the Spencer Village Hall, with
music provided by the Augustine Brothers.
After a wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Schindler will make their home at Route 1,
Unity.
