Dormady, Lyle (30 December 1906 – 20 January 1982)

Services for Lyle Dormady, 75, were held Monday, January 25, in the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Fairfield, Montana, with the Rev. Duane Thompson officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Dormady died January 20, in a Great Falls Montana nursing home after a long illness. He was born in Clark County on December 30, 1906. He came to Montana in 1932 where he met and married Pearl May Matthews on May 27, 1933, in Sunburst, Montana. They lived and farmed in Dutton and Collins area until 1940 when they moved to the Fairfield Bench. Lyle was a farmer and cattle buyer for many years until his retirement in 1973 when they moved to Great Falls.

Surviving besides Mrs. Dormady are eleven children: one daughter, Donna May Myers, Lewistown; ten sons, Cleve of Midland, Tex., Herbert, Larry, Bruce and Bob, all of Great Falls, Donald of Lewistown, Gerry of Power, Tracy of South Prairie, Wash., Howard of Washington and Clarence of Havre; thirty-one grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
