Jorgenson, Magdalena (10 Jun 1904 – 25 Sep 1974)

Mrs. Magdalena Jorgenson of Oconomowoc died Wednesday, Sept 25, 1974 at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. Services were held on Saturday, September 28 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oconomowoc, with Rev. David Wohlschlaeger officiating. She was buried at Glenview Memorial Gardens, Ixonta.

Mrs. Jorgenson was born on June 10, 1904 in Colby. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kobs, Colby.

The former Magdalena Kobs married Mathew Jorgenson on September 9, 1924 in Colby. Her husband died on May 5, 1968.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oconomowoc.

Mrs. Jorgenson is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Leland (Audrey) Siegmann, Pewaukee, Mrs. Santo (Doris) Mattart, Mrs. Charles (Bernice) Jorgenson, Mrs. Arnold (Caroline) Bartel, Mrs. Thomas (Shirley) Roemer Dousman, and one son, Mathew, all of Oconomowoc.

Other survivors include two sisters, Miss Edna and Miss Selma Kobs, Colby, and two brothers, Norman Kobs, Colby, and Harold Kobs, Madison.
