Miss Judy Susan Hinke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hinke of Route 2,
Dorchester, and James David Lemke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lemke, Route, 2,
Withee, were united in marriage on Saturday, September 28, 1974 at a 1:30 p.m.
ceremony at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester.
Father Burggraf performed the ceremony, and music was provided by Linda
Lueddecke, organist, and Jeannine and Gail Meyer, soloist.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride appeared in a princess style
ivory gown of shimmering sata Peau over taffeta, with high neckline, long fitted
sleeves with pearl and lace trim. She carried a colonial bouquet of red roses,
white poms and baby’s breath.
Colleen Zirngibl of Medford was maid of honor, and Mrs. Kenneth Hinke of
Dorchester and Mrs. Paul Luckewich of Withee were bridesmaids. They were attired
in wine colored empire knit gowns and ivory wide brimmed hats with wine colored
ribbons. Each carried a white chrysanthemum tipped in wine with ivory ribbon
trim.
Attending the groom was Tom Lemke as best man, Medford, Ken Hinke, Dorchester
and Paul Luckewich, Withee, groomsmen. Tim Lemke and Steve Johnson were the
ushers.
Following the ceremony approximately 330 guests attended the reception, dinner
and dance at Dorchester Memorial Hall.
The bride is a 1973 graduate of Colby High School and is employed at Marathon
Cheese Corp. Her husband graduated from Medford High School in 1970 and is
employed by Havey Company.
After a trip to northern Wisconsin and Canada, they will reside at 219 West
Cedar Street in Medford.
