Holy Rosary Catholic Church was the scene of the October 2, 1974 wedding of Miss Mary Ann Reynolds, daughter of Fred Reynolds of Dorchester, and Joseph J. Meyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Meyer of Medford.

The 7 p.m. service was performed by the Rev. Bernard Meyer of San Antonio, Texas, brother of the groom. The soloist, Mary Beth Goessl, was accompanied on the organ by Jan Rauscher.

Attending her sister as matron of honor was Mrs. Violet Rajewski of Wisconsin Rapids. Bridesmaids were Miss Judy Zettler of Loyal and Mrs. Jeanette Reynolds of Dorchester.

The bridal gown and ceil and attendants’ dresses were designed and made by Nellie Tischendorf. The bride’s dress was of white slipper satin with full circle train was trimmed with horn of plenty lace. She carried a bouquet of pink rose buds, stephanotis and baby’s breath. The Attendants wore dresses of three shades of pink polyester crepe trimmed with Venetian lace and matching picture hats. Each carried a long stemmed rose with baby’s breath.

Ushering duties were performed by Mike and David Reynolds, Dale Meyer and William Hayden Jr.

Following the services a reception, dinner and dance were held at Dorchester Memorial Hall for approximately 450 guests.

After a honeymoon to an undisclosed location the couple will be making their home at 405 Allman Street in Medford.
