With Rev. Keith Schoerlucke performing the service, Miss Janine Crystal Benjegerdes and LeRoy Edwin Johnson said their wedding vows at the United Methodist Church in Colby on September 28, 1974.

Miss Rosalie Brusky and Bruce Felix provided the music for the evening service. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Orville Benjegerdes of Route 2, Colby, and Mrs. Phyllis Waterman and Elmer Johnson of Wisconsin Rapids.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in an A-line gown of acetate with nylon and rayon lace trim. A Camelot style cap secured the three tier nylon tulle veil. She carried a bouquet of blue daisies, white carnations, and baby’s breath.

Mrs. Bruce Felix of Marshfield was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Mrs. Thomas Burke of Des Plaines, Illinois, and Miss Michelle Waterman of Wisconsin Rapids. They wore light blue crepe dresses with navy blue velvet boleros and carried bouquets of blue daisies, white carnations, and baby’s breath.

Attending the groom as best man was Bruce Felix of Marshfield. The groomsman was Thomas Burke of Des Plaines, Illinois, Shane Pueschner and Joe Benjegerdes seated the guests.

Mrs. Johnson is a secretary at Bonded Collections in Marshfield. She graduated from Colby High School in 1972. He husband is employed at J.C. Penny Company, Marshfield.

They are residing at Route 2, Spencer.
