A pre-nuptial shower was held Sunday afternoon in honor of Rita Rae Dins, who is to be married November 2, 1974 to Jerry Aschenbrenner, Rosholt. It was held at the home of Mrs. Gorton Vorland and given by the bridesmaids, who are Mary Vorland, Oshkosh, Helen Schneidl, Stevens Point, Bonnie Aschenbrenner, Stevens Point, and Nora Sebota, Oshkosh.

The table was decorated with candelabras and umbrellas. The bride-to be was presented with a special corsage. A beautiful luncheon was served by the hostesses.

Games were played. She received a nice assortment of gifts.

Guests were Mrs. Herb Steinwand, Mrs. Stan Hesgard, Mrs. George Miller, Mrs. Frederick Dins, Mrs. Gordon Mellenthin, Mrs. Rod Marcuss, Mrs. Norman Kops and Mrs. Lavern Polster, all of Colby, and Mrs. Ted Ketterl, Marshfield, Mrs. Ed Tischendorf, Dorchester, Mrs. Harry Mandel, Unity, Mrs. Glen Wickersham, and Mrs. Ray Martens.
