Hart, Rose (8 July 1893 – 14 February 1982)
Rose Spring Hart, 88, formerly of Humbird, passed away on February 14 in a
Monroe hospital after a short illness.
Mrs. Hart was born on July 8, 1893, in Green County to John and Katherine (Rhyner)
Bryner. As a small child, she moved to Clark County and attended Humbird
Schools. On February 11, 1915, she married William F. Spring. The couple moved
to Green County and farmed until 1945, retiring to the community of Monticello.
On July 10, 1963, Mr. Spring died.
On March t5, 1967 the deceased married Henry Hart and the couple made their home
in Humbird. Mr. Hart died on February 7, 1979. Of late Mrs. Hart made her home
in Humbird except for the winter months when she resided with her daughter, Mrs.
Norma Zurfluh, Albany.
Survivors besides her daughter, include a brother, John Bryner, Humbird; three
sisters, Mrs. Cloy Reider of Rockford, Ill., Mrs. Mae Hahn of Humbird and Emma
Keeler of Beloit; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Angus (Verna) Flood; a stepson, Harold
Hart, Humbird; nine grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, February 22, from Church
Memorial Lounge with the Rev. Charles Workman officiating. Interment was in a
Monticello cemetery.
