Weis, Michael John (25 April 1983 – 13 September 2022)
Michael J. Weis, (aka Phreak) 39, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 13,
2022.
Michael was born on April 25, 1983, in Colorado Springs, CO, the son of Jill
Weis and Raymond Tatroe. He attended school in Greenwood, graduating from
Greenwood High School in 2001. He then attended Chippewa Valley Technical
College in Eau Claire, in the Computer Science program. He later attended
Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Ashland, where he obtained his C.N.A
license.
Mike had a great love and passion for cooking. He loved the sense of freedom
while riding his motorcycle. He was very talented as a tattoo artist, sketch
artist and painter. He enjoyed skateboarding, plants and gardening, beadwork,
making patches, camping and stone collecting. Mike had a kind heart and was
always willing to help a friend.
Mike is survived by his sons, Brodie Wolf of Auburndale and Rylie Weis of
Washburn; his mother, Jill Artac (Mike Beilke) of Granton; his father, Raymond
Tatroe of West Cliff, CO; his grandmother, Arlene “Nana” Weis of Marshfield,
along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his grandfather, Garth “Papa” Weis; his
grandparents, Norm and Clara Tatroe and his uncle, Mike Tatroe.
A celebration of Michael’s life will take place at the Granton Community Center
on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 11 A.M. to 3 P.M.
