Clark Co.-UW-Stevens Point (Honors - 1982)

Various colleges, universities and technical schools often announce when area students enroll, earn honors or participate in special campus activities. In recent announcements, by school were:

UW-Stevens Point—Michael Grap, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Grap, 15 Hewett St., has been chosen secretary of the Five-fifties Veteran Organization, which is a group designed to raise the standard if civil and social life of veterans attending the school. Mike is a 1973 graduate of Neillsville High and is a sophomore majoring in political science.

LeRoy Crockett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Crockett, Rt. 1 Neillsville, has been chosen president of school’s chapter of the Soil Conservation Society of America, a group which promotes conservation of the natural resources including soil, water, forests and wildlife. LeRoy is a 1977 graduate of Neillsville High and is a senior majoring in soils science.
