Todd, Ruth A. (23 March 1901 – 5 March 1982)

Ruth A. Todd, 80, of 808 Grand Ave., Neillsville, passed away at Neillsville Memorial Hospital on Friday morning, March 5.

The deceased was born on March 23, 1901, in the Town of Fremont to Frank and Minnie (Retzlaff) Gardner. She received her education in the Fremont School. On April 18, 1927, she was married to Leslie Todd in Granton ceremonies. The couple then farmed in the Town of Fremont until retiring to Neillsville in 1961. She was a member of the Neillsville United Methodist Church.

Surviving her is a son, Wesley, Chili; three brothers, Charles, Cyril and Russell, all of Granton; two sisters, Mamie Scharf and Mrs. Douglas (Dorothy) Crandall, both of Granton; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, March 8, from the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton with the Rev. William Noble of the United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was made in the Yolo Cemetery; the pallbearers were all nephews of the deceased.
