Dietrich, Rollie (11 February 1899 – 25 March 1982)

Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon, March 27, for Rollie Dietrich, 83, from the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton. Mr. Dietrich passed away on Thursday afternoon, March 25, in Neillsville Memorial Hospital.

The deceased was born February 11, 1899, in the Town of Grant to John and Augusta (Strey) Dietrich. He received his education in Grant schools. On October 18, 1925, he married Anna Hiles in Mapleworks Lutheran Church ceremonies. Dietrich was a lifelong farmer in the Town of Grant.

Surviving him is a daughter, Marian Dietrich, Granton; a sister, Emma Lautenbach, Granton; and a brother, Arnold, Owen. He was preceded in death by his wife, who died on December 15, 1963; three sisters and two brothers.

Serving as pallbearers were Walter and Mark Hiles, Eugene Cattanach, Everett Handt and Victor and Ray Strey. Mrs. Roger Helm provided special music for the funeral service.
