Flick, Albert E. (3 November 1891 – 2 April 1982) With Flag
A former employee of the Town of Foster and Clark County, Albert E. Flick, 90,
passed away in Neillsville Memorial Home on Friday, April 2.
The deceased was born on November 3, 1891, to Jess and Alma (Stahl) Flick. He
received his education at the Cotton School of Fairchild. He then worked at
various jobs in Fairchild. On December 17, 1917, he married Marcyana Lubinski in
Humbird ceremonies.
Flick then entered the serviced on a tour of duty from July 14, 1918, to
December 30, 1918. Upon his return, he farmed in the Fairchild are and worked
for both Clark County and the Town of Foster. He later was employed by an
Augusta canning factory. He retired several years ago and continued to li8ve on
the home farm until 18 months ago, when he entered Neillsville Memorial Home. He
was a member of the Humbird American Legion.
Surviving him is a son, Franklin, West Allis; a daugher, Mrs. Tony (Donna)
Gosar; two brothers, Henry of Cudahy and Harold of Eau Claire; and nine
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife on February 15, 1952, an
infant daughter, three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon, April 4, from the Gesche funeral
Home in Neillsville; the Rev. Cora Noble officiated. Burial was made in the
Fairchild Public Cemetery; grandsons served as pallbearers.
