Milazzo, Virginia (12 May 1928 – 2 April 1982)
A seven-year resident of Neillsville, Virginia M. Milazzo, 53, passed away in
the Neillsville Memorial Home on Friday, April 2, after a lingering illness.
Prior to her illness, Mrs. Milazzo made her home in the Town of Pine Valley.
The deceased was born on May 12, 1928, in Chicago to Grant and Ruth (Hagstrom)
Anderson. She received her education in Chicago schools and held various jobs in
the Illinois city. She married John Linneman and he couple lived in Chicago.
On January 14, 1971, she married Philip Milazzo in Chicago ceremonies and the
couple remained in that city until 1975 when they moved to Neillsville. She held
various jobs in the Neillsville area until failing health forced her retirement.
She was a member of the Calvary congregation.
Surviving her are five sons, Larry Linneman of Chicago, Mike Linneman of Oak
Brook, Ill., and James Linneman, Christopher Milazzo and Joseph Milazzo, all of
Neillsville; and three daughters, Mrs. Dale (Patricia) Feistamel of Schaumburg,
Ill., Mrs. Sam (Diane) Piraino of Elmwood Park, Ill., and Joan Linneman of
Chicago. He is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Ruth Anderson, Neillsville; a
brother, Grant Anderson, Jr., Neillsville; and six grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her father and two husbands.
Funeral serviced were held from Calvary Lutheran Church on Tuesday afternoon,
April 6, with the Rev. Paul Forde officiating. Burial was made in the Town of
Seif Cemetery. The Gesche Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
