Kulas, Geraldine S. (3 May 1930 – 17 October 2022)
Geraldine S. Kulas, age 92, of Abbotsford, passed away surrounded by her loving
family on Monday, October 17, 2022, at the Colby Retirement Center under the
tender care of St. Croix Hospice.
Geraldine was born on May 3, 1930, the daughter of Frank and Viola (Zettler)
Pecher in rural Athens. On August 28, 1948, Geraldine was united in marriage to
Sylvester Kulas. He preceded her in death on January 11, 1987. Together they
raised 5 children.
Geraldine is survived by five children: Gary (Donna), Leah (Jim) Girard, Daryl
(Diane), Galen (Rose Ann) and Kevin (Linda); 14 grandchildren; 26
great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, Carlton
(Loretta) Pecher and a step-great-grandson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4,
2022, at St. Bernard Catholic Church. Father Timothy Oudenhoven will officiate.
Interment will follow at Abbotsford Public Cemetery. Family and friends are
welcome from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Friday at the church. The
Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford is entrusted with the arrangements.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Colby Senior Center and St.
Croix Hospice for the wonderful care of their mom.
