Sheri Lynn Thorson of Greenwood and Carl Albert Luchterhand of Loyal were united
in marriage on Saturday, May 1, ceremonies in the Marie Louise Chapel, Christie.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Thorson, Rt.1 Greenwood, and Mr.
and Mrs. Garth Luchterhand, Madison.
Rev. Chris Paulson of Bible Baptist Church of Neillsville officiated. Special
music was provided by Lori McNeely and Sabrina Thorson.
Serving as maid of honor was Sabrina Thorson, the bride’s sister. Arlyn
Luchterhand, the groom’s brother of Woodstock, Illinois, was bestman.
The bride chose her mother’s wedding gown of white organdy with satin brocaded
flowers, fitted waist and flared skirt, all trimmed in white satin and featuring
a short satin jacket. She wore a waist-length veil and carried white,
long-stemmed roses adorned with baby’s breath. Her attendant wore a
blue-flowered, two-piece fitted, long-sleeved dress.
Following the service, a reception was held at the Marshfield Holiday Inn.
The bride is a graduate of Badger High School of Lake Geneva. Her husband is a
graduate of Loyal High School and District I Technical Institute of Eau Claire.
He is employed by Kayser Ford of Madison.
