Reyzer, Salome S. “Sally” (23 Sep 1931 – 19 Oct 2022)
Salome "Sally" S. Reyzer, age 91, of Lublin, WI, passed away on Wednesday,
October 19, 2022, at her son's home in Roberts, WI. Visitation will be held, at
St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin, on Friday, November 11, 2022, from
10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Vijay
Kumar Madani will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Sally was born on September 23, 1931, in the Town of Roosevelt to Frank and
Cecilia (Lisiecki) Grabski. She was raised in Chicago before returning to Lublin
in 1945 and received her education at area schools. Sally attended Taylor County
Teacher's College for two years earning her teaching I certificate and later I
attended UW-Stevens Point earning a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.
Sally was united in marriage to Maylan F. Reyzer on October 15, 1949 at St.
Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin. She taught for the Gilman School District
for many years. She also taught Holy Rosary Catholic School in Owen.
Sally had many interests, but especially enjoyed^ crocheting, arts & crafts,
reading, and crossword puzzles. She enjoyed traveling within and outside the
U.S. Sally visited Poland twice (where she taught English to Polish students),
Canada, Portugal, Ireland, and Greece. She was an avid Jeopardy fan, enjoyed
bird feeding, and tending to iher cats and dogs. She was a member of St.
Stanislaus Catholic Church where she served as reader and Eucharistic minister,
was a member of the Polka Mass Choir, and was a hospice volunteer for many
years.
She is survived by her 3 children: Conrad Reyzer of West St. Paul, MN, Diane
Jacobs of Lugoff, SC, and Lance (Sharon) Reyzer of Roberts, WI; 2 grandchildren:
David (Brook) Reyzer of Woodville, WI and Adam (Aubrey) Reyzer of Prescott, WI;
5 great-grandchildren: Carmen, Evan, Coraline, Ada, and Miles; 2 sisters: Regina
Syryczuk of Lublin, WI and Theresa Reilly of Chicago, IL; nieces, nephews, other
relatives and many friends.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Maylan, 2 brothers:
Julian and Roman Grabski; and 4 sisters: Lucille, Louise, Elizabeth, and Joanne
in infancy, and son-in-law Tom Jacobs.
