Neinas, Clarence A. (6 February 1895 – 16 May 1982) With Flag
Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon, May 18, for Clarence A. Neinas,
87, of Rt. 1 Chili, who passed away on Saturday evening at his home. The Rev.
Frank Heinbaugh officiated at the Chili Immanuel United Methodist Church with
the Gilbertson Funeral Home of Granton in charge of arrangements.
The deceased was born on February 6, 1895, in the Town of Lynn to William and
Anna (Guk) Neinas. On April 6, 1920, he married Lillian Harriman, who passed
away on December 22, 1958. In 1965, Neinas married Adeline Nourse. Neinas worked
for the W. J. Spry and sons of Chili for 32 years after which he became
self-employed selling and repairing machinery. He was also a veteran of World
War I.
Surviving him, besides his second wife, is a son, Rex, of Chili; two daughters,
Mrs. Robert (Aileen) Wesenberg of Wisconsin Rapids and Mrs. Vernon (Iris) Lindow
of Chili; three stepdaughters, Mrs. David Famerand and Mrs. Clyde Benjamin, both
of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Jerome Ebel of Stevens Point; and two sisters, Mrs. Emma
Neugart of Mesa, Arizona and Mrs. William Miller of Tucson, Arizona. He is also
survived by six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 15 step grandchildren,
and 19 step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Oscar.
Serving as pallbearers for the service were Herb Puscheck, Ervin Haslow, Donovan
Spry, Victor Anderson, Otto Rusch and Joe Arbelovsky, Sr. Music was offered by
Helen Grimm, Marlyn Lindow and Bonnie Meissner.
