Garbisch, Cheryl (Scholarship - 1982)
Cheryl Garbisch, a senior at the Granton High School was selected as the top
agricultural student by Tri-State Breeders, Westby, for the area that they serve
in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa.
She was presented a $400 scholarship to attend UW-River Falls this fall. She is
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Garbisch, Rt. 2 Granton.
Cheryl was president of the Granton FFA this year, took part in public speaking
and parliamentary procedure and is a member of the state FFA chorus.
Cheryl and her classmate, Geoff Thompsen, will participate in the state Junior
Dairyman’s demonstration contest at Ride Lake in mid-June.
