Hadzima, Mary (Award- 1982)
The Neillsville Jaycettes held their first annual Mother-of-the-year contest,
which was open to all fourth and fifth graders. The students were asked to write
an essay on why they felt their mother was deserving of the award.
Mrs. Mary Hadzima of Neillsville was chosen after the review of her son Chad’s
and daughter Sue Lynn’s letters. Mrs. Hadzima has two other children, Jennifer
and Jill.
Mrs. Hadzima received a floral centerpiece and a plaque with her children’s
essays on it. She also received a “You’re No. 1” button.
