Boss, Loraine R. (7 May 1919 – 13 Jan 1975)

Services will be held for Loraine R. Boss, 55, Colby, on Thursday, January e 16 at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, with Rev. Kenneth Loehrke and Rev. Rolan Fink officiating.

Mrs. Boss passed away at her home at 7:10 p.m. Monday, January 13, 1975. She will be buried in Abbotsford Cemetery.

The body will be in state at Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, after 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 15.

The former Loraine Hanson received her education in Abbotsford, Stevens Point and Eau Claire. She married Earl Boss in Abbotsford on November 20, 1941.

She was born on May 7, 1919 in Abbotsford and has taught school for several years in the area schools, the last seven years at Colby Junior High School. She has been a resident of the area for 33 years. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford.

Mrs. Boss is survived by her husband and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Hanson, Abbotsford.

Other survivors include three sons, Jack, Colby, Ronald Madison, Randall, at home, and two grandchildren.
