Heisler, Clara (24 Jun 1911 – 28 Jan 1975)

Mrs. Leonard Heisler, 63, died at her home on West Spruce Street, Abbotsford, on Tuesday, January 28, 1975 at 8 p.m. from cancer.

Services for Mrs. Heisler were held on Friday, January 31 at 1:30 p.m. at Polnaszek Funeral Home, with Rev. Lillian Jensen officiating.

The former Clara Wilhelmina Fuller was born on June 24, 1911 in Schaller, Iowa. She married Leonard Heisler in 1931 at Stevens Point.

Mrs. Heisler received her education in Iowa schools and lived at rural route, Junction City, before moving to rural Unity and finally to Abbotsford in 1974.

She is survived by her husband, two brothers, Clarence, Pittsville, Elmer, Roosevelt, Arizona, and one sister, Mrs. Walter (Elizabeth) Friday, Wisconsin Rapids.

The organist at the funeral was Mrs. Joyce Pokrant, and the soloist, Mrs. Dorothy Neuman sang “How Great Thou Art” and “Safe in the Arms of Jesus.”

Pallbearers were LaVerne Fuller, Walter Friday, Duane Neuman, Eugene Heisler, Al Krueger and Maurice Hougren.
