Hoeft, Emil G. (11 Mar 1885 – 10 Feb 1975)

Services will be held for Emil G. Hoeft, 89, Abbotsford, on Thursday, February 13, 1975 at 2 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford, with Rev. Kenneth Loehrke officiating.

Mr. Hoeft died on Monday, February 10, 1975 at 4 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Interment will be in Holton Cemetery in the Town of Holton. The body will lie in state at Polnaszek Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Hoeft was born on March 11, 1885 in the Town of Holton. On August 15, 1923, he married the former Ida Soeffker in Milan Lutheran Church. He farmed and did carpenter work in the Town of Holton until 1965, when they moved to Abbotsford.

Mr. Hoeft lived in Abbotsford for nine years and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ida, a brother, Theodore, Abbotsford, and a sister, Mrs. Herman (Elsie) Fitzlaff, Town of Little Black.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
