Gets Fire Damage (Feb 1975)

An early morning fire on Wednesday, February 19, 1975 damaged the interior and
exterior of the Wilde Realty building 106 E. Spruce Street, Abbotsford.
The blaze of undetermined origin was spotted by a truck driver at about 1:15
a.m. He notified the authorities.
Anita Wilde estimated damage to the building $15,000 to $20,000. She added that
her records and files were undamaged.
Abbotsford Fire Chief William Colby, Colby, Abbotsford Chief of Police, John
Nelson, and State Fire Marshal Paul Sainsbury all refused to comment, because an
investigation is underway.
Wilde Realty is temporarily set up at the north end of Wild Paint Store,
Abbotsford.
