Watercolor paintings by Holly Marsh Van Gorden of Chimayo, New Mexico (formerly of Neillsville) will be displayed at the 1982 Lake Side Festival of Art in Milwaukee on June 18 to 20.

In May at the New Mexico Watercolor Society—La Primavera, Albuquerque, Van Gorden received the $600 purchase award and an honorable mention.

She just received a certificate of recognition at the juried Western Slope National Art Exhibition held in Montrose, Colorado.

Her art work is represented by Temple Gallery in Appleton and the Artichoke Gallery in Albuquerque.

Van Gorden studied painting at the California Institute of the Arts; UW-River Falls; and UW-Madison where she received double bachelor of arts degrees in choreography and art education which involves painting, drawing, sculpture and performance.
