Angeline H. “Ann” Huls, age 93, of Thorp, passed away at her home at Traditions Assisted Living, on Monday, November 14, 2022.

Angeline Henrietta Sniegowski was born in Thorp, on January 19, 1929, to Edward A. and Marion (Niedbolowski) Sniegowski. She was raised and received her education in the Thorp area, graduating from Thorp High School in 1946. On July 17, 1948, she was united in marriage to William Huls, and their marriage was blessed with 8 children. Ann had a thirst for knowledge, taking various college courses throughout her life and earning a diploma from Nicolet College in 1984.

Ann had a strong faith and loved her church, especially spending time with her Bible Study group. She loved her community and the people of Thorp. While having a few different jobs during her lifetime, she was well known as a local realtor and a talented seamstress.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, taking special pride in her sons, grandsons and great-grandson who have served or are currently serving.

Ann is survived by her children: Sue Kwiesielewicz of Mosinee, Robin (Brad) Bichanich of Janesville, Terry Rabuck of Stanley, Bill (Kim) Huls of Alamogordo NM, Heidi Huls of Hazelhurst, Judy Huls of Withee, Joe (Nancy) Huls of Ojibwa and Maria (Dean) Schalow of Wausau; 28 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. What a legacy!

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill, on June 11, 1998; one sister: Sylvia Davis; three brothers: Dave, Frank and Jim Sniegowski; and two sons-in-law: Art Rabuck and Tony Kwiesielewicz.
