The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bakke was baptized Sunday morning at
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Curtiss by Rev. Roger Tellock, and given the name,
Debra Jean. Lois Weideman, Curtiss, the baby’s aunt, and Mr. and Mrs. Roger
Maki, rural Owen, were sponsors.
Dinner guests at the Bakke home were the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Bake,
Abbotsford, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Weideman and family, rural Curtiss, Robert
Bakke, Stevens Point, the great-grandfather, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Weideman Jr.,
and Mary Kay, Curtiss, and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Maki and children, rural Owen.
