Kenneth Ingersoll, 81, Abbotsford, died at Continental Manor, Abbotsford, on
Monday, April 7, 1975 at 2:55 p.m.
Services will be held for Mr. Ingersoll on Thursday, April 10 at 2 p.m. at
Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford, with Rev. Lillian Jensen officiating. The
body will be in state beginning at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will be in
Abbotsford Cemetery.
Born on April 6 1894 in the Town of Holton, Marathon Co., Mr. Ingersoll married
the former Edith Dombrowe on November 12, 1920 in Abbotsford. He received his
education in the Town of Holton and farmed all his life in the Abbotsford area.
Her served in the U.S. Navy during World War I.
Mr. Ingersoll was a charter member of the VFW and a member of the Masonic Lodge
for 50 years. There will be a Masonic Lodge service on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at
the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, nine children, Donald and Harold, Abbotsford,
Kenneth Jr., Colby, Robert, Junction City, Marvin, Adams, Neal, Racine, Mrs.
Orville (Gladys) Tichy, Hibbing, Minnesota, Mrs. Byron (Arlene) Leichtnam,
Dorchester, and Jeanette, Marshfield.
Other survivors include 25 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
