The Rev. Gary Clark officiated at the Saturday afternoon, June 12, Neillsville
United Church of Christ wedding for Jamie Lynn Hauge and Brad Allen Zimmerman.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. James Hauge, Rt. 2 Neillsville and Mr.
and Mrs. Lloyd Zimmerman, 301 East First St., Neillsville.
Special music for the service was offered by Bob Ross and Eileen Zank.
Jane Kessler of Neillsville served as maid of honor. She was joined by Stephanie
Rasmussen of Waupaca, Kim Short of Neillsville and JaNel Quast of New Ulm,
Minnesota. Each are friends of the bride. Serving as best man was Greg
Zimmerman, the groom’s brother of Neillsville. He was joined by Kevin Grap and
Tim Voigt, friends from Neillsville and Dennis Wilcox, a friend of Chippewa
Falls. Ushering were Randy and Terry Hauge, both brothers of the bride from
Neillsville.
Ring bearer was Eric Hauge of Black River Falls while flower girl was Patty
Hauge on Wisconsin Rapids, nephew and niece of the bride.
The bride chose a gown with lace bodice, bell sleeves, accordion-pleated skirt
and buttoned cuffs; she also wore a veiled hat and carried a bouquet of purple
and lavender orchids adorned with white and lavender carnations. Her attendants
wore gowns featuring accordion pleats, spaghetti straps and lavender capes; they
each carried a purple orchid and white carnations. The groom and his attendants
were attired in gray tuxedos.
A wedding reception was held at the Wildcat Inn, which was followed by a dance
at the Silver Dome Ballroom. The couple then left on a trip to North and South
Dakota.
Prenuptial events included showers hosted by Robin and Natalie Hauge, Kim Shot
and Jane Kessler.
The new Mrs. Zimmerman is a 1981 graduate of Neillsville High School and in 1982
from Mid-State Technical Institute-Marshfield in the operating room assistant
program. Her husband, also a graduate of Neillsville High, has attended
technical institutes in Marshfield, Eau Claire and La Crosse; he is employed by
the Neillsville-Granton Farmers Union Cooperative. The couple will make their
home in Neillsville.
