Hardrath, Dorry (12 Apr 1975)

Baskets of pink roses adorned the altar of the First United Methodist Church in Colby Saturday, April 12, 1975 as Dorry Hardrath, Colby and Dan Pinter, Dorchester exchanged vows. The Rev. Keith Schoerlucke, Spencer, performed the 7 p.m. ceremony.

The couple are the children of Mrs. Faith Sonneman, Colby, and Mr. and Mrs. John Pinter of Dorchester.

The bride, escorted by her brother, Albert Hardrath, appeared wearing an entrained Edwardian gown of sheer Dacron polyester and Venice lace with matching floor length lace edged veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of white carnations, pink roses, lily of the valley, stephanotis and fern with satin streamers and pink rosebuds.

Miss Beth Pinter, Dorchester, sister of the bridegroom, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Mrs. Barney Hatch, Stratford and Miss Jean Pinter, Dorchester.

They were attired in pastel blue and white eyelet lace dress, which featured ruffled illusion tops and long Juliet sleeves. Patel blue wide brimmed hats trimmed with satin ribbon and streamers completed their ensembles. Each carried a large pin rose with satin bow and streamers.

Attending the bridegroom was Steve Yaron, Arizona, Barney Hatch, Stratford, and Steve Hardrath, Wausau. Alan Pinter and Kurt Watson ushered guests to their seats.

Following the wedding a reception and dance were held at the VFW Hall in Colby.

The couple will be making their home at Dorchester.
