Three area students received Associate degrees and two others were honor for other achievements at the annual Awards Convocation at the UW Center, Marshfield-Wood County on Wednesday, April 23, 1975.

Donald Nelson and Dawn Zirngibl, Abbotsford, and Susan Runzheimer, Colby, received Associate of Science degrees. They were among 37 students receiving degrees.

Nelson was also named Outstanding Athlete at the UW Center and received an award for Most Valuable Player, basketball.

Miss Runzheimer also received a certificate honoring her for earning placement on the Dean’s List for two semesters.

Receiving certificates for placement on the Dean’s List for one semester were Rebecca Hinke, Colby, and Shirley Witt, Abbotsford. Miss Witt also was awarded a continuing student scholarship for the coming academic year. The scholarship is valued at $200.
