Rev. Ronald Lee Schultz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Schultz, Abbotsford, was
installed as pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, Minnesota, in an
afternoon service last Sunday.
Rev. Schultz was born on December 20, 1947 in Marshfield, and grew up in Colby,
where he attended Zion Lutheran School and graduated as an honor student from
Colby High School.
He studied for two years at Concordia College, Milwaukee, and again graduated
with honors. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Concordia Senior
College, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He continued his theological education and training at Concordia Seminary, St.
Louis, Missouri. He vicared in Bismarck, N.D. at Zion Lutheran Church, and
graduated with a Master of Divinity Degree from Concordia Theological Seminary,
St. Louis, on May 24, 1974. He then served Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Eyota,
Minnesota until April of 1975.
Rev. Schultz is married to Kayrene Maria Pohlmeyer, daughter of Rev. and Mrs.
Marvin Sackschensky, Wheatland, Wyoming. They have one daughter, Aimee Louise,
born on September 15, 1973.
