ceremony of Cathy Lynn Soltow and Daniel James Buss, performed by Pastor David
Ault, Spencer, at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 1975. The couple is the children

For her day the bride wore an Empire style gown with chapel train. The bodice
was trimmed with Chantilly lace and was fashioned with long sleeves. The chapel
sweep skirt and train featured a ruffled flounce. A headpiece of lace and
organza petals with crystals and pearls secured her elbow length bouffant veil.
She carried a bouquet of white carnations and red roses.
Mrs. Lynn Dethe, Highland Park, Illinois, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids
were Miss Nancy Wolfe, Spencer and Miss Margaret Reynolds, Dorchester. Miss
Patty Soltow, Spencer, was the miniature bride.
Plaid Voile halter gowns in maize and Nile green were worn by the bride’s
attendants. Plaid jacket tops with plain tapered sleeves were worn over their
gowns, and each carried a bouquet of white carnations and pink rose buds.
Attending the groom was Greg Dethe as best man. Groomsmen were Jerry Schilling,
Colby and Dennis Soltow, Spencer, and Jason Schilling, Wausau, was the ring
bearer.
The bride is a 1973 graduate of Colby High School and is employed as a waitress
at the Medo-Arms Restaurant. The bridegroom is a 1964 graduate of Abbotsford
High School and is a factory worker at Land-O-Lakes in Spencer.
