The Reverends Robin Fink and Kenneth Loehrke performed the marriage ceremony of Bonnie Ellen Wellman and Randy Jerome Schultz at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 25, 1975 at the Zion Lutheran Church at Colby. Providing the wedding music were Susan Runzheimer, organist, the Rev. Fink, guitarist and Sally Heindl, soloist.

The bridal couple are the children of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wellman, Rt. 1, Colby, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Schultz, 510 N. Second Street, Colby.

The bride, escorted down the aisle by her father, wore an empire gown of satin and lace with matching train. The bodice was fashioned with s scoop neckline and lace sleeves. She carried a cascade bouquet of of white roses and blue carnations.

Miss Sharon Wellman, Middleton, was the maid of honor, and Karen Dommer, Appleton and Kathy Schultz, Colby, were the bridesmaids. Flower girls were Debbie Siudak and Amy Schultz, both of Colby.

They were attired in empire style gowns featuring the A-line skirt, scoop neckline and puff sleeves. The plain and flocked crepe gowns were shades of blue, green, yellow and pink.

Robert Skwarske, Chicago, was the best man, and serving as groomsmen were Greg Huckbody, Wausau and Randy Wellman, Colby. Tom Wussow and Troy Wussow, both of Edgar, were the ring bearers. LeRoy Wellman and Jerry Heindl ushered the guests to their seats.

A reception, lunch and dance were held at the Dorchester Memorial Hall following the wedding.

The bride graduated from Colby High School in 1972 and attended the UW-Marathon Center until 1974. She is presently employed as a clerk at Jim’s Shurfine in Abbotsford.

The bridegroom, a 1968 graduate of Colby High School, served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and is employed at S & K Dairy Equipment, Colby.
