“The Past is but a Prologue to the Future” will be the title of the Commencement
address to be delivered by Dr. Theodore J. Jenson at the University of
Wisconsin, River Falls on Sunday, May 18, 1975 at 2 p.m. in the Melvin Wall
Amphitheatre. Special guests at the Centennial Commencement will be University
of Wisconsin System President John C. Weaver.
Approximately 375 of the 475 winter and spring graduates to receive degrees will
be present at the ceremony.
The students from this area to receive degrees are:
Edna Peterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Peterson, Unity will receive a
Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, with a major in Physical Education
and a minor in Health. Miss Peterson will be graduating with honorable mention
granted to graduates with a 3.75 point average for the last two years.
Also receiving a degree will be Arlyn Abegglen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon
Abegglen, Rt. 1 Abbotsford, who will receive a Bachelor of Science in
Agricultural Education.
