Neillsville Patrolman Graduates to Detective (2022)
Patrolman Hunter Imm, after completing various courses related to the position,
will assume patrol investigator duties for the Neillsville Police Department, a
position vacant since July 2020. Submitted photo
In a memorandum from Neillsville Chief of Police Jim Mankowski to Mayor Dewey
Poeschel and other concerned agencies, Mankowski explained the patrol
investigator assignment has been vacant since June 2020.
Over the past year, patrolmen Hunter Imm of the Neillsville Police Department (NVPD)
obtained the advanced education and experience to fulfill the assignment.
Recently, Imm completed the Detective Academy Course at Northeast Technical
College-Green Bay and the Property Room Manager Course at Waukesha County
Technical College, among others.
Mankowski has thusly assigned the patrol investigator duties to Imm.
Imm’s responsibilities will include clearing out several years of confiscated
items the NVPD is no longer required to keep, in addition to organizing the
property room to his and Mankowski’s standards.
